World War Z Switch edition Game of the Year

World War Z Switch edition brings killer zombies to Nintendo

World War Z Switch edition has just been announced by Saber Interactive, and that’s not all — World War Z: Game of the Year Edition is also on the way.

IGN recently spoke to Saber Interactive’s CEO Matt Karch and learned about the future of this popular zombie shooter. It’s done pretty well for the developer (and their publisher Embracer Group), so much so that they’re working on porting the game to Nintendo Switch.

The World War Z Switch edition is currently in development. Unfortunately, we don’t yet have any details on a release date or price.

In addition to this game making its way to Nintendo’s hybrid handheld console, the developers also announced that a Game of the Year Edition is on the way. This version of the game will bundle up all of the DLC into one neat package, making it easier than ever to get into the action. It will also include a new PVE episode spanning three episodes and set in Marseille.

While we don’t know when the Switch edition will launch, the Game of the Year Edition will be making its way to the PC via the Epic Games Store, PS4, and Xbox One on May 5, 2020, at the price of $49.99 or your regional equivalent.
