Nioh 2 has officially gone gold, developer Team Ninja has announced, with the game now finished and wrapped up ahead of its launch next month. Nioh 2 will release on March 13, 2020, with development work having now ceased on the game ahead of it being available for purchase.
Team Ninja has announced that the game is now ready for launch, with its official Twitter account also telling followers to pre-order the game in order to receive their bonuses.
We recently spoke to the game’s Producer and Director Fumihiko Yasuda, in an interview that saw him discussing why Nioh is arguably the most successful Soulslike outside of From Software‘s own games. Yasuda also discussed why Nioh 2 doesn’t have an easy mode, but why he’s not opposed to one being included in the game, either.
Nioh 2 will launch exclusively on PS4 on March 12 in Japan and on March 13 worldwide.
