New The Last of US 2 PS4 theme has a cool secret

new The Last of Us 2 PS4 theme has been released online and it’s got a pretty cool secret, showing off the dual nature of the world of The Last of Us 2.

Gaming industry tweeter @Wario64 reports that a new theme has been released to the PlayStation Store as long as you input a special code. This theme can also change between two different backgrounds depending on the time of day.

How to get the new The Last of Us 2 PS4 theme

To get the newest The Last of Us 2 PS4 theme, you have to simply enter one of the following codes as reported by @Wario64:

  • Americas: 4FMP-BBNM-J5L3
  • Europe/AU/NZ/Russia/Middle East/Africa/India: 9DEK-PKNG-N445

Once that’s done, you can install the theme on your PS4.

In the daytime, you’ll see a tranquil image of Ellie playing her guitar up against a tree. Once the clock shifts over to nighttime, though, the background changes to a harrowing image of her leaning up against another tree while a party of men hunt her with torches.

The Last of Us 2 launches on May 29, 2020.
