Battlefield 5 Chapter 6 Into The Jungle cover

Battlefield 5 Chapter 6 trailer shows Solomon Islands and two new weapons

The Battlefield 5 Chapter 6 trailer has arrived and it shows off a new map and some new features. These changes to Battlefield 5 should be mixing up the gameplay in a pretty interesting way.

The trailer opens with a group of soldiers in the midst of a jungle. Camouflaged Japanese soldiers emerge from the trees, and one man backs up into a tank because he’s apparently blind as a bat. We then transition into the actual details of the update.

A new map called “Solomon Islands” will be making its debut. Though mostly out of doors, this is nonetheless a “claustrophobic” map that’s very narrow overall. This map was made by the same team that created Lockers and Argon Forest. The map will be available for Breakthrough, Conquest, Squad Conquest, and Team Deathmatch.

Also revealed are some new weapons. Here’s what you can look forward to in Battlefield 5 Chapter 6:

  • Type 11 MG (Support)
  • M2 Carbine (Assualt)
  • M1A1 Bazooka (Gadget)
  • Lunge Mine (Gadget)

Update 6.0 arrives at the start of February 2020. In the meantime, you can check out the Battlefield 5 Chapter 6 ‘Into The Jungle’ trailer below.
