Animator imagines what Master Chief Super Smash Bros. victory animation could look like

This is what a Master Chief Super Smash Bros. victory animation could look like

A fan animator has just added more fuel to the campaign to get Halo’s armor-clad protagonist into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with a new Master Chief Super Smash Bros. victory animation video that shows what Microsoft’s most iconic character could look like in the game.

Animator Nova (@MemoryNova) shared the animation on Twitter. The video shows the Halo logo flash on screen and move off to the side, revealing Master Chief standing in the victory pose area. He shoots an Assault Rifle in a horizontal sweep toward the camera, then reloads the weapon and aims forward as the results screen begins. At the time of writing, the tweet has more than 34,000 likes.

While the inclusion of a gun-toting character like Master Chief in Nintendo’s character fighter might seem far-fetched, it wouldn’t be unprecedented. Both Bayonetta and Persona 5′s Joker use bullet-firing weapons, and Snake uses explosive-launching guns. Additionally, with the recent release of the Microsoft-owned Banjo & Kazooie in Smash, including another Microsoft character wouldn’t be so surprising.
