New free Nintendo Switch Online games include Star Fox 2, Super Punch-Out

Six new free Nintendo Switch Online games are being added for December 2019. These new games include Star Fox 2Kirby Super Star, and four others!

If you’ve been living under a rock, you might not know that there are Nintendo Switch Online free games accessible to anyone with an active membership to Nintendo’s online subscription service. Much like PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold, Nintendo’s online subscription gives you access to some pretty neat games, although they tend to focus on titles from their back catalog.

Here are the six new Nintendo Switch Online free games coming for December 2019:

  • Breath of Fire II
  • Crystalis
  • Journey to Silius
  • Kirby Super Star
  • Star Fox 2
  • Super Punch-Out!!

That’s a pretty nice variety of games! It also happens to be the first time that Star Fox 2 is being made available for the virtual console; previously, it was an exclusive release to the SNES classic. You can see all six of these great games in action in the video below.

Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42).
