Death Stranding PC release date period announced, launching in 2020

Surprise, surprise! The Death Stranding PC release date window has been announced. Many have speculated that this upcoming game from Kojima Productions would be a PS4 Exclusive, but an announcement has gone out via the company’s official Twitter that confirms what many had been hoping: Death Stranding is coming to PC.

The announcement that Death Stranding would be coming to PC was made via Kojima Productions’ official Twitter account. Unsurprisingly, the replies to the tweet have descended into spirited celebrations on the part of PC players along with some good-natured (and not so good-natured) ribbing at the death of any chances of this game being a PlayStation 4 exclusive title. What we know for now is this: the Death Stranding PC release date will be arriving sometime in the summer of 2020.

“Thanks to all of you who have been supporting #DEATHSTRANDING!” stated a tweet on the official Kojima Productions Twitter. “DEATH STRANDING release on PS4 is November 8, 2019!! Furthermore, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS is happy to announce that DEATH STRANDING will be coming to PC in early summer of 2020!! #kojimaproductions #deathstrandingpc”

While we do know that this hotly-anticipated game will be making its way to the PC, there are several questions that are still unanswered. Will Death Stranding be an Epic Games Store exclusive, will it launch on Steam, or will it somehow pop up on a different store entirely? What sort of price point will Kojima Productions be targeting? We don’t know just yet, but we’ll certainly be hearing more about it in the coming months.

Monday mornings are often rough for adults and kids alike, but the day just got brighter for a heck of a lot of us. The Death Stranding PC release date will be arriving sometime in the summer of 2020. In the meantime, you can look forward to getting Death Stranding on the PS4 on November 8, 2019.
