Halo: Spartan Assault Launching Today On Windows 8

Vanguard Games has been working with 343 Industries to create a Halo-centric spin-off developed exclusively for Windows 8 devices. The game is a twin stick shooter called Halo: Spartan Assault, and it's available on a Windows-powered device near you starting today.

The title is priced at $6.99, so there's not a huge monetary risk involved if you're curious enough to take the plunge. It's be playable on any tablet, phone, or PC that runs on Windows 8.
