Full PlayStation Network Restoration by End of the Week

Sony has announced that before the week is over, the PlayStation Network will be fully restored to its pre-fiasco state, except with much beefier security in place to prevent any further issues.

This means that the PlayStation Store will finally make its return, and PS3 users can begin taking advantage of Sony's "Welcome Back" package and get back to downloading games, demos, DLC and more.

The full restoration includes:

  • Full functionality on PlayStation®Store
  • In-game commerce
  • Ability to redeem vouchers and codes
  • Full functionality on Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for PS3, PSP, VAIO and other PCs
  • Full functionality on Media Go

The PlayStation Store has been down for even longer than the PSN itself was, leaving all users unable to download any games or DLC. Now that the service will be back, what will be among the first things you download?
