The PlayStation Now August lineup of games has been revealed and there are some critically acclaimed games coming to the lineup next month. All of these games will be free for PlayStation Now subscribers and will be releasing toward the beginning of the month. From Doom 2016 to Tekken 7 there are some big games coming next month that you’ll likely want to get your hands on. Let’s take a look at all of the games coming to PlayStation Now in August.

Due to the timing of QuakeCon 2019 a lot of the standout games coming to PlayStation Now in August are from Bethesda. The three PlayStation Now August games from Bethesda are Doom 2016, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Fallout 4. In addition to these hit Bethesda titles, there are some other great titles coming to the service. All of the PlayStation Now August games will be available for download on August 6. Below is a complete list of the games coming to PlayStation Now in August:

  • Castlevania Lords of Shadows (PS3)
  • Castlevania Lord of Shadows 2 (PS3)
  • Castlevania Lord of Shadow: Mirror of Fate (PS3)
  • Doom 2016 (PS4)
  • Fallout 4 (PS4)
  • Monster Energy Supercross (PS4)
  • MotoGP 17 (PS4)
  • Tekken 7 (PS4)
  • The Raven Remastered (PS4)
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order (PS4)

Perhaps the biggest game that subscribers will be able to get is Doom 2016, which was one of the most beloved games of 2016. It is considered a reboot of the Doom franchise and was the first major installment to the series in almost 12 years. Players will take the role of the Doomslayer, who must take on demonic forces after the Union Aerospace Corporation Research Facility is overrun by demons.

Joining Doom 2016, Wolfenstein: The New Order was released in 2014 and is the seventh installment to the Wolfenstein franchise. The addition of The New Order is no doubt timed to help promote the recent release of Wolfenstein Youngblood. The New Order is often remembered for its nuanced storytelling and fast-paced first-person shooter action.

Another fan favorite that is coming to the subscription service is Tekken 7, the seventh numbered, non-tag installment to the series. Following the story of Tekken 6, Tekken 7 follows the journey of a reporter whose family is killed in the war between Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation. Determined to avenge his family, players must help the reporter research Mishima and uncover the truth. You can play all of these games in just a few days when they release for free to all PlayStation Now subscribers.
