During the Nintendo E3 2019 DirectSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate fans were shown a little bit of love in the form of some new Amiibo! The Nintendo Direct revealed that there would be a handful of new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Amiibo joining the lineup later this year, including a Solid Snake Amiibo.

The Snake Amiibo is something that fans have been hoping for ever since it was announced that he would be appearing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, the Snake Amiibo is just one of a handful of new Smash Bros. Ultimate Amiibo that were unveiled earlier today. Let’s take a look at the others!

Snake Amiibo

Joining Solid Snake is Squirtle, Ivysaur, Incineror, Chrom, Simon Belmont, Dark Samus, and Richter, which will all be getting their own Amiibo. These new Amiibos will all be coming out over the next few months, with some just a few months away and some that won’t be coming until next year. Squirtle, Ivysaur, and the Solid Snake Amiibo will be releasing on September 20, 2019. However, Incineroar, Chrom, and Simon will not be released until November 2019. Finally, Dark Samus and Richter have not gotten an official release date yet and will be appearing sometime in 2020.

All of these Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Amiibo characters are well-loved, but the Metal Gear character, Solid Snake, is one that fans have been wanting for a long time. Thankfully, the Snake Amiibo is coming in the first batch and will be releasing in September 2019, so fans will not have to wait too long to get their hands on him!
