Everything in Forza Horizon 4 is about to get awesome. In a surprising move, Microsoft announced the Forza Horizon 4 Lego Speed Champions expansion for the open-world racing game. Fans won’t have to wait long to experience the joy of crashing through loads of bricks as the DLC is set to release very soon. It won’t be a standalone release, so you’ll have to have the base game. It will cost $19.99 and will be a part of the Ultimate Edition.
Forza Horizon 4 released late last year on October 2, 2018. The latest racer from Playground Games received critical acclaim and was praised for its new seasonal changes. Since release it has received a number of updates including a Fortune Island expansion, several cars from the James Bond film franchise and several balance changes. So far, they have had 7 million registered users for the title, which is a part of Xbox Game Pass.

As announced during the Xbox press conference, the Forza Horizon 4 Lego Speed Champions expansion release date is set for June 13, 2019. That’s just four days from now. To make the wait a little more bearable, you can check out the great looking trailer below of the new spin on Forza. This isn’t the first time that the series has had a ridiculous DLC expansion either, as Forza Horizon 3 got a Hot Wheels-themed level with dinosaurs and huge loops.
The official announcement says that players will be able to “race and explore a wonderous new LEGO Valley brought to life at the Horizon Festival. Amass your own Brick Collection and construct a Master Builder’s House. New cars include the McLaren Senna, Ferrari F40 Competizione, and 1967 Mini Cooper S Rally. There will also be 31 new achievements worth 500 gamerscore, hidden bonus cubes to find, and new LEGO Brick challenges for players to complete.
