During the Microsoft E3 2019 conference, The Outer Worlds received a release date and new gameplay trailer. The Outer Worlds release date is planned for later this year, coming in the midst of a major fall lineup of games. The Outer Worlds is an upcoming role-playing game, developed by Obsidian. In the game, players will find themselves awakening on a colonist ship which is headed for the furthest edge of the galaxy. They must explore the galaxy and uncover a conspiracy that is threatening the Halcyon Colony. At the beginning of the game, players must choose a character, each who will have a different story to tell.
The Outer Worlds release date revealed for Xbox One, PS4, and PC
The Outer Worlds will be making its way to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 25, 2019. The Outer Worlds will be available later this year on consoles and PC, as an Epic Games Store exclusive. This is just one of many games to join the lineup of Epic Games Store exclusives, however, Epic Games will have to share the PC launch with Windows. The Outer Worlds will eventually come to Steam, but it will be a year after launch.
The Outer Worlds will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch on October 25, 2019, so fans won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the game!
The Outer Worlds has a Fallout vibe to it, which should come as no surprise since the creators of the Fallout series are the game’s directors. The Outer Worlds has been in development since early 2016 but was officially announced at The Game Awards in 2018. There is no doubt that fans will see more of The Outer Worlds as it gets closer to its 2019 launch.
