Nintendo has confirmed the Pokemon Sword and Shield release date today, as part of its Pokemon Sword and Shield Nintendo Direct. It turns out we’ll be heading to the Galar Region by the end of 2019. Nintendo and Game Freak confirmed when Pokemon Sword and Shield is being released today, during the Pokemon Sword and Shield Nintendo Direct. The Pokemon Sword and Shield release date is November 15, 2019. As usual, there are two versions to buy, and it is up to you what one you go for. Thankfully, Pokemon Sword and Shield is following the recent tradition of releasing worldwide simultaneously. None of that waiting malarky for any Pokemon trainer, anywhere.
On top of the simultaneous global release date of November 15, 2019, Nintendo also announced that you can now pre-order the game. This includes a double pack that contains both Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. The perfect thing to buy if you can’t decide what version you want the most. It could also prove cheaper than buying both separately, too, if you know someone who wants to split the bill. You can see an image of the Pokemon Sword and Shield Double Pack below:
