Remember "Project Hell?" It was the codename of a new title in the works at Techland, the development studio behind Deep Silver's Dead Island. The game's official title has now been revealed. Say hello to Hellraid.

Hellraid is a "first-person co-op slasher" that features both single-player and multiplayer game modes. In the latter game type, gamers will be able to "destroy the denizens of hell and compete with your friends for points and rewards."

The game is set to release sometime later this year for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Are you eager for more gaming goodness from Techland? Let us know in the comments below.
