New Animal Crossing Trailer Features Island Multiplayer Games And Shops

Do you ever wish you could just escape to paradise? What do you think the GR comments and forums are for me? D'awwwwww.

You guys walked into that one huh? I got my hands on Animal Crossing: New Leaf yesterday (preview here) at Nintendo's big 3DS Showcase and it wasn't hard to ease right back into daily life in my new town. I started to have neighbors I liked (and didn't like), but I didn't get to play any of this.

It's not as though the tropical island is new to Animal Crossing, but Nintendo has obviously expanded on the idea and other elements of day-to-day AC life. Items stack 9 deep and moving about the world felt faster and smoother. I obviously couldn't be more excited for the game, and the recently announced for America New Leaf 3DS XL looks really nice as well.

Nintendo announced that the special edition XL hardware would come with a copy of AC: New Leaf pre-installed and cost $219.99. The game and handheld will arrive June 9th, but I can't decide how to buy myself. My SD card is nearly maxed out, but I know I'll want to always have this game ready to play on my current not-special, blue XL.
