The Division 2 Xbox One X console is a glorious, limited edition beast

The Division 2 Xbox One X console has been revealed by the game’s French Twitter page. The limited edition console has a striking premium look, resembling a secure metal briefcase. The Division 2 Xbox One X console is being given away by The Division 2 FR Twitter account ahead of the game’s release.

The Division 2 Xbox One X console includes orange accents with the logo of the Strategic Homeland Division (SHD) from the game taking up much of the top of the device. The front features The Division 2 logo alongside the traditional Xbox logo, but in orange. The console comes up a limited edition controller. The controller is a bit less imposing, but also features the SHD logo embossed upon it.

The tweet by The Division 2 FR account is the first time the limited edition console has been seen in the wild. As of yet, there is no indication whether this giveaway will occur in any other countries, or if it will be available to purchase.

In other Xbox One console news, rumors emerged last that Xbox was developing an all-digital version of the console. The console would reportedly be named “Xbox One S All-Digital Edition.” The rumors follow reports that the next generation of Xbox consoles will feature two editions. One more powerful console with a disc tray and one cheaper console without a disc tray.

Away from Xbox, Google is known to have been working on their game streaming platform for some time and images recently emerged of what some believed to be its console’s controller. Getting in ahead of Google’s gaming platform release was Soulja Boy. The musician released his console in early December. However, the console was pulled from release in January of this year.

The Division 2 is slated to be released on 15 March on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
