Nintendo To Rectify Wii U’s Sloth-Like Loading Times In April

Now that your Wii U has collected a thin sheet of dust, it's looking to lure you back with solutions to problems that shouldn't have existed in the first place.

Nintendo has posted a video showing the greatest addition to the Wii U yet: a cure for its long and unreasonable loading times.  Coming in the next update is a signficant reduction in time spent between menus on the Wii U operating system. How significant? Well, how does a reduction of 10-13 seconds sound? With the time you save you can learn an instrument, earn a degree, or maybe even complete The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

See below:

One thing I'm weary about is the video only shows loading when quitting out of a game, not the more commonly confronted loading screens such as opening the Settings menu or going into Miiverse. I guess we'll have to learn for ourselves when the update releases in April.
