Energizer phone has a big battery

New Energizer phone has massive battery and is an absolute unit

Is your phone battery always dying before you want it to? Are you annoyed that you have to charge your phone regularly? Well, Energizer might have a phone for you thanks to its newest phone that has a massive, long-lasting battery.

Yes, Energizer, the company behind the AA batteries nestled inside your TV remote now has an Android-power smartphone coming to market. The Energizer Power Max P18K Pop features an 18,000mAh battery and is a whopping 18mm thick. Technically this is an Avenir Telecom phone using the Energizer brand name, but in any case, this phone’s battery is massive.

A typical cell phone like the iPhone 8 features just an 1821mAh battery. That battery is rated for around 21 hours of battery life from a full charge. In comparison, the Android 9.0 Energizer phone promises a week’s worth of use. The Energizer smartphone can allegedly play two full days of video before it is drained of juice.

The Power Max P18K Pop features a 6.2-inch LCD display with minimal bezels and an overall sleek look. Of course, the phone is bigger than you might suspect as it is more than twice as thick as an iPhone 8. The Energizer phone has two selfie cams and three back-facing cameras. The chunky, battery-laden phone also doesn’t come with a headphone jack.

Inside the Power Max is a MediaTek processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage standard. The phone supports fast charging, but not wireless charging. A full charge still takes about eight hours, though. The processor might leave a lot to be desired, however, so don’t go jumping on this as your next phone if you care about performance.

Of course, battery cases exist for a wide range of phones, but even those don’t come close to rivaling the 18,000mAh of the Energizer phone. The Energizer Power Max P18K Pop is expected to go on sale this summer for €600 or roughly $685.
