PS Plus February 2019 games include Hitman, For Honor

The PS Plus February 2019 games lineup has been revealed, with Hitman: The Complete First Season, For Honor, Gunhouse, and Rogue Aces announced as the free PS4 games for the month. Divekick and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots also give a final hurrah to the PS3 and Vita, who will be excluded from the service after this month.

Hitman: The Complete First Season is a collection of missions that Agent 47 is tasked to solve and the 2016 reboot of the assassination series. Originally released in 2016 and developed by IO Interactive, this collection features all seven episodes. A sequel, Hitman 2, was released last November.

For Honor is a action title developed by Ubisoft Montreal and was released back in early 2017. An action fighting game, For Honor has you control one of three factions, including knights, vikings, and samurai. A fourth faction featuring exiles was later added as DLC.

Gunhouse, developed by Necrosoft Games, is a puzzle/tower defense game that has you make big combos to ward off alien invaders. Rogue Aces, developed by Curve Digital, is a scrolling shooter that has you navigate the skies in an effort to liberate captured islands from The Baron. Both of these titles have cross-play with the Vita.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the only mainline Metal Gear game released for the PS3 and features an older Snake navigating through stealth missions. Divekick is a fighter where the focus of the gameplay centers on the dropkick mechanic.

These games will become available starting on February 5 through March 5, when the next lineup drops. PS3 and Vita games will remain for a few extra days until March 8. It was noted that PS Plus subscribers will be able to keep games they’ve downloaded as long as they remain a member.

It was also noted that early in February, cloud storage will be expanded from 10GB to 100GB for PS Plus subscribers.
