The Walking Dead The Final Season Episode 4 release date has been revealed

Skybound Games has been mum about the newfound development of the last episode of The Walking Dead but now it has inadvertently shown when the final installment is coming out. According to game itself, The Walking Dead The Final Season Episode 4 release date is March 26.

The Walking Dead The Final Season Episode 4 release date has been revealed

This information was made available thanks to the release of the newest episode, which is out now. Once the third episode is loaded in, the game’s “Episodes” tab updates the release dates and displays “March 26” under the fourth episode titled, “Take Us Back.” Previously, the game still had the schedule that Telltale Games put out before the studio imploded. It read “November 6” for Episode 3 and “December 18” for Episode 4; two dates that those entries have long since missed.

Skybound Games has not officially come out and announced this new date so it’s entirely possible that this could be a placeholder day that’s not final. That said, this would place it around two and a half months after Episode 3’s launch, which isn’t quite the six-week schedule Telltale had previously announced when it had control over the series. Although it’s easy to imagine how the whole debacle would make this not go exactly according to old plan.

The Walking Dead The Final Season Episode 4 release date most likely pertains to every version including the PC, which has seen some ups and downs. While the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch iterations found homes, the PC was not so lucky. However, Epic made a deal with Skybound Games that gave the Epic Games Store the exclusive rights to sell the final two episodes of the season. This allowed all the versions to simultaneously come out on January 15.

If true, March 26 marks the day that Telltale truly dies as it will its last release, despite coming out under Skybound Games. Although, the team will likely spread around and give their talent to other welcome studios, which is already happening.
