God of War 4 Rumors Grow As E3 Approaches

Look, there are a couple of people you do not fuck with. You don't fuck with the Jesus. "Don't fuck with Texas" is a popular spin on the classic "Don't mess with Texas." Honestly, all those guys can shove it when compared to Kratos. You really don't fuck with him.

Honestly, that's why I'm reluctant to post this rumor that's been given credence by Official PlayStation Magazine. With the publication being official and all, I'm inclined to believe that the God of War might be back for a fourth helping of ass-kicking. The UK magazine writes:

Kratos is on his way back, with his next adventure set to feature multiplayer.

Unofficial PlayStation Mag PSM 3 also wrote last month that:

God of War 4 is coming and will hit in September 2012. Our source works closely with the God of War universe, and let slip he'd be working on a related project at the same time.

With the PSN down, I wouldn't be surprised if a wealth of single-player content was on hand at Sony's E3 Media Briefing. Still, adding multiplayer to God of War seems like an interesting concoction…. How do you think it will play out?

You can keep it locked on Game Revolution for the latest E3 buzz leading up to and throughout E3 2011.
