Leaked Mortal Kombat Vids Show Potential DLC

NetherRealm Studios head and co-creator of Mortal Kombat , Ed Boon, has said on a number of occasions that Mortal Kombat will feature plenty of DLC characters, long after the game has been released. Newcomer Skarlett and blind-ninja Kenshi have already been revealed, but more are on the way.

A newly leaked pair of videos have landed on YouTube, showing that MK3 alternate costumes and Mortal Kombat 4's Wind God, Fujin, are in the pipeline.

In this first video, "DLC BaseMale" is shown. But when selected, the Mortal Kombat announcer clearly calls him Fujin, proving that there are at least plans to offer Fujin as a DLC character.

This next video shows Sektor and Cyrax donning their original MK3 costumes.

Skarlett and Kenshi's character models are on the Mortal Kombat disc. Hackers have managed to unlock them, but they are incomplete; without any moves, fatalities, etc. Bosses Goro, Kintaro and Shao Kahn are also on the disc, each with their own move list and fatality set, which means they very well could be unlocked eventually either via DLC, or by completing some still-unknown in-game task.

Look out for more news on Mortal Kombat DLC in the very near future. Recently, rumors were circulating that MK DLC may extend into other well-known IPs.

If you could pick any character, from any game, MK or not, who would you like to see make it as a DLC kombatant?
