Dead or Alive 6 Roster Adds Returning Fighters Bass, Tina, and Mila

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced that the Dead or Alive 6 roster will include returning fighters Bass, Tina, and Mila. The news was announced via a new trailer earlier today, giving us a glimpse of a new wrestling-inspired stage coming to the upcoming fighting game. These characters will be returning with a new storyline in which Bass and Tina establish a new professional wrestling organization called “The Muscle” in the world of the game.

First up is Bass, who utilizes a professional wrestling fighting style with an emphasis on raw power and throwing moves. His daughter, Tina, returns with the same fighting style as her father, albeit not as powerful. They have just moved to New York after the events of Dead or Alive 5 and looking for a new beginning. Meanwhile, Mila is a mixed martial arts (MMA) champion, who is a huge fan of Bass.

Mila dreams of fighting her idol in the ring, and she’s getting exactly that if the ending of the trailer is any indication. The trailer also shows gameplay footage of Bass giving Tina a beatdown in the ring, as well as Mila going up against Tina. Additionally, the new “The Muscle” stage comes equipped with ropes charged with electrical current, which could shock fighters who get too close for comfort.

In other related news, the Dead or Alive 6 release date was announced last month. The latest installment in the iconic fighting game franchise is slated to be released for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 15, 2019. It will be the first mainline Dead or Alive title in over seven years. For more details on pre-order bonuses for each platform, head over to this link.
