New Nintendo Switch Online Games

Nintendo Switch Online Gets Three New Nes Games Next Week

Nintendo has confirmed the next batch of Switch Online NES games. The new Nintendo Switch Online games are as follows: NES Open Tournament Golf, Solomon’s Key, and Super Dodge Ball. Nintendo confirmed on Twitter that they will be available to play from October 10, 2018.

The Nintendo Switch Online Service is available now. Alongside the likes of cloud saves, online multiplayer, and more voice chat options are a bunch of complimentary NES games. These NES games have added online multiplayer with voice chat functionality included. The full list of Switch Online NES games contains the likes of Dr Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Double Dragon. Nintendo announced, however, that more are on the way each month.

True to this promise, Nintendo has re-confirmed what the latest batch of games are and has attached a release date on Twitter. You can read the tweet below:

NES Open Tournament Golf is a predecessor to the Mario Golf series. The game sees you play as Mario and take on three courses in the USA, UK, and Japan. There are eighteen holes to tackle in each course, and you can play the game in two-player. It introduced to the world the Mario USA flag costume, too.

Super Dodge Ball is a Technos Japan-developed title. It has you playing Dodge Ball in a World Cup play tournament in single-player while offering plenty of multiplayer options such as Versus Play and Bean Ball Mode. Bean Ball is a two-player free-for-all against four AI-controlled enemies. The last man standing is the winner.

Solomon’s Key meanwhile is a Tecmo classic puzzle game. You have to fight your way through many enemies using Dana’s magical powers. In total, there are 64 levels to play through.

More new Nintendo Switch Online games are on the way, too. In November we’ll be getting Metroid, Mighty Bomb Jack, and TwinBee. December will see Wario’s Woods, Ninja Gaiden, and Adventures of LoLo added to the service.
