PlayStation has announced the PS Plus Free Games for the month of October 2018. The PS Plus Free Games October 2018 consists of two games for each platform, including the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. We have two major PS4 games to look forward to next month, including Friday The 13th The Game and Laser League.
As revealed by PlayStation Blog, the highlight of October’s line-up has got to be Friday The 13th The Game. Since October will also be the month of Halloween, PS4 players can play the spooky game with their friends and family. Developed by Illfonic, players will either take on the role of teen counsellors or Jason Vorhees himself. Up to eight players can participate in a game, with one lucky player getting the role of Jason.
The other major PS4 game for grabs next month is Laser League. This game provides a multiplayer experience featuring retro-futuristic themes and neon lights galore. For those looking for lighter non-scary fare to play this Halloween month, grab your friends and play this game by developer Roll7. The rest of October’s lineup is as follows:
- Master Reboot (PS3)
- The Bridge (PS3)
- Rocketbirds 2: Evolution (PS Vita)
- 2064 Read Only Memories (PS Vita)
Additionally, the same PlayLink and PlayStation VR bonus games from last month‘s lineup are still available for download. These include Knowledge is Power and Here They Lie. Last but not least, H1Z1 players on the PS4 can look forward to the PlayStation Plus Blueshift Pack, which contains the Blue AR-15 schematic, Pro Gamer Hoodie, and Marine Blue Offroader.
Here’s a friendly reminder that players don’t have to download the free games to redeem them. Players can simply add the free games to their library and it will stay there for as long as their PS Plus subscription lasts. At least that way they can download the games at any time without worrying about losing those free games.
