Bandai Namco has today confirmed that the Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition release date will be January 11, 2019 in North America and Europe.

In addition to revealing the release date, Bandai Namco also confirmed that it is going to put out a special edition of the game. Although no details regarding the special edition were announced. All we have on it so far is the slick steelbook, which features a large image of Repede on the front, and a few of his striking poses on the back. Unfortunately, we don’t know what consoles the special edition of the game will be available on. We do know, however, that the PC version of Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition will be digital only.

Tales of Vesperia originally launched on the Xbox 360 back on August 26 2008. A Japan-only port of the game released on PS3 a year later. The Definitive Edition represents the first time Tales of Vesperia has been playable on a Nintendo console or PC.

The updated port features full HD graphics, new music, bosses, mini-games, two new party members, Mystic Artes, skills, a few DLC costumes, and upgraded battle system, and more. All of theses addition make this undoubted the complete release.
