The Stardew Valley Multiplayer update release date has finally been revealed, and we couldn’t be happier to hear it. ConcernedApe’s beloved game has won the hearts and minds of its players the moment it officially debuted, but as to be expected with a creative game like this, there’s always more things to be improved and added. Multiplayer is one of those things, and we have Chucklefish to thank for that.
The multiplayer mode for PC has been in open beta since late April, which allowed a player to host up to four friends on their farm as long as they have the correct number of cabins to house them. Your friends were also able to help you out and around the farm too, watering crops, making cheese and fishing too. What’s more, friends are even around at festivals too so you have the potential of having four times the fun. After all, they do say the more the merrier. Who knows, maybe you’ll even be allowed to grow weed with your friends too?
Feeling convinced and desperate to get started on your brand new farm with your three farmhands? You’re in luck, Stardew Valley has recently gone on sale where 4 editions of the game (one for yourself and your friends) can be yours for just 38 dollars. Now if that isn’t one great sale then we don’t know what is. Check it out for yourselves here.

Tempted? You won’t have to wait long at all for the Stardew Valley multiplayer update as it’s making its way live on August 1st for Mac, PC, and Linux. And while there has been no confirmation for when players of the other platforms can join in on the multiplayer fun, we doubt that it’ll be much longer.
