GTA Online: After Hours Update Coming July 24

Put on your dancing shoes, as Rockstar Games has announced that GTA Online: After Hours will launch on July 24. After Hours is the latest update for Rockstar’s extremely popular and profitable online multiplayer. The new update was teased back in June.

The After Hours update will bring back Tony Prince (aka Gay Tony) who Grand Theft Auto fans may remember from Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony. The latest update will have the player team up with Tony to open and operate a top shelf nightclub. The upcoming content update will feature four world-class DJ acts, Solomun, Tale of Us, Dixon and The Black Madonna.

Rockstar Games released a small summary of the upcoming update on their website. “Los Santos is a city of bright lights, long nights and dirty secrets, and they don’t come brighter, longer or dirtier than in GTA Online: After Hours.” The nightclub will be yours to run but it can also be used as a front for your criminal enterprise. There is no word on if you can access the nightclubs in single-player, but if this update follows the previous ones, then the features included in this update will be exclusive to GTA Online.

Grand Theft Auto V launched in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3, where it was met with universal acclaim from critics and fans. The open world game had a successful launch and it was the biggest for a video game at the time. GTA Online launched a month after GTA V was released. In 2014 Rockstar Games released GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One. The current-gen versions have improved visuals, performance and a first-person mode.

GTA V released on PC in 2015 and Rockstar, has had a few run-ins with the PC gaming community involving mods. In 2015, Rockstar Games announced that they would be no longer supporting GTA Online on PS3 and Xbox 360 with content updates.

Grand Theft Auto V is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
