E3 2018: Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Now Free on PlayStation Plus

Feel like shooting some virtual stuff after an adrenaline-fuelled E3 2018 Sony Conference? You’re in luck. After the conference concludes, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be free for all PlayStation Plus users. Talk about a bonus.

Concluding the first Black Ops trilogy, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 went full steam ahead with their robo-weaponry. It was more Titanfall than Call of Duty at times, but it was all the better for it.

Clocking in a download size of around 40GB, you’re going to want to get a headstart on downloading Call of Duty Black Ops 3 now that it’s a free PlayStation Plus game. For avoidance of doubt, it doesn’t come with any of the main DLC in the game; this is the vanilla edition only. But, still, free’s free, am I right?

Black Ops 3 being added to the free game library this month follows on from the June 2018 PlayStation Plus games announced which included XCOM 2, Trials Fusion, and more. If you include Black Ops 3 into the mix, that’s a mighty fine mix for the month, and gives gamers a nice choice to play with throughout June 2018.

As a reminder (in case you forgot), Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is out later this year on October 12.
