Fallout 76 Beta Release Date

E3 2018: Fallout 76 Beta Announced, No Confirmed Release Date

Fallout 76 beta has been announced by Bethesda during its E3 2018 press conference, with it offering players the opportunity to dive into its new multiplayer Fallout game. With the full game set for release on November 14, 2018, it’s expected that the beta will be released way ahead of schedule, though no Fallout 76 beta release date has been confirmed.

The beta will be used by Bethesda to stress the Fallout 76 servers, with it being the first multiplayer-focused game in the series’ history. The game will see “dozens” of players making up the titular Fallout 76, the first vault to open up following the nuclear attacks that devastate the series’ world. After emerging from the vault, players will exist in the game world and carry out tasks alongside one another, from building camps through to uncovering nuclear sites.

Bethesda didn’t reveal much about the beta aside from it being used to help them work on Fallout 76‘s multiplayer component. No release window for the beta was given, either, so you’ll have to watch this space to find out when you can dive into the beta and begin experiencing a small section of the game ahead of its launch. Fallout 76 is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2018, so we’re sure that plenty of players will be more than eager to jump in and experience it ahead of release.

The game will release on November 14 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
