Fallout 4 Update 1.10.111

Fallout Celebrates Star Wars Day With Incredible Poster Mashup

It’s May the Fourth, aka Star Wars Day. So, you’re either doing one of two things: 1) Cramming in as many Star Wars jokes as humanly possible or 2) Letting the hate flow through you and telling everyone who’ll listen that Star Wars is for little children. Okay, okay, that’s a third option, and it’s the one Bethesda have chosen: to pay homage to everything a galaxy far, far away with a fantastic Fallout 4 crossover.

Taking to Twitter, the official Fallout account aped Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s iconic red-hued poster by bringing us a Fallout 4 spin to proceedings on Star Wars Day.

Overshadowed by a member of the Steel Brotherhood, the poster encapsulated all that was brilliant (and cumbersome) about the fourth entry in the Fallout series. The Minutemen, The Railroad and the Institute are all represented here, and are flanked by the male and female Sole Survivors. It’s busy, that’s for sure.

Yep, Preston Garvey is still an annoying presence as ever, but the poster also reflects the chaotic nature of Fallout 4’s plot. Poe Dameron’s instantly iconic line has been given a Vault-Tec twist, reading, “We are the spark, that will light the fire that will burn the Brotherhood of Steel down”

If that doesn’t have you hankering for a few Star Wars mods to play in the Wasteland, then I don’t know what will.

No, it’s not the Fallout 5 you’re looking for, but it’s about as close as we’ll get in the next half-decade. And by that time, we’ll have at least four new Star Wars movies out to keep you busy.
