The trailer above does just about everything right.
You and I've played Zombie mode in Call of Duty before. You shoot a bunch of zombies, their brains go everywhere, the clock keeps ticking, eventually the other players in your game wander too far off and you're left alone. It's not long before you're zombie chow.
Think of the honor in being scarfed down by George A Romero though! Imagine getting eaten by zombie-Romero, all the while trying to defend Robert Englund from a horde of zombies. Now imagine your Danny Trejo, just… you know, not with a pair of PlayStation Moves in your hands…. Black Ops Director Dave Anthony said:
This is Treyarch's tribute to the legendary George Romero, who truly defined the zombie genre and whose incredible work has been such an inspiration to our team. It was an absolute honor to work with such an amazing and talented cast whose passion and energy brought their characters instantly to life. Fans are going to love this.
Worth $15? Maybe, probably not, it's not like it's a full-on campaign. Still, the Escalation DLC pack for Call of Duty Black Ops just got a lot better looking. Activision sure does now how to spend money on celebrities. Escalation will be available on the Xbox 360 on May 3rd.
