Shroud Breaks PUBG Record with Incredible 8-Player Kill

Twitch streamer and professional eSports player Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek appears to have broken a PUBG record, with the infamous competitive gamer killing 8 players within 23 seconds of landing. The incredible clip, recorded during one of Shroud’s livestreams, see him swiftly taking down a crowd of opponents, despite him only having a sliver of health for half of the eliminations.

In the clip, Shroud touches down on PUBG‘s Miramar desert map, picks up a weapon and then promptly goes to town on anyone crossing his path. While a few of his opponents aren’t yet armed as a result of the round just starting, some pluck up the courage to go toe-to-toe with the pro player, only to also be mowed down in his path.

While there aren’t statistics outlining the fastest series of PUBG kills, it’s difficult to imagine anyone taking down as many opponents in such a short space of time. With PUBG featuring two wide open maps, it’s rare to be confronted with this many players in one fell swoop, let alone being able to eliminate them all in just over 20 seconds.

Watch the extraordinary clip below:

Shroud has become well-known in the PUBG community for his expertise, with him having devoted his time to becoming a full-time Twitch streamer after semi-retiring from his role as a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player for Cloud9. He currently serves as a backup player for the team.

The 23-year-old has amassed a huge following on Twitch, with PUBG creator Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene personally naming him as his favorite Twitch streamer. This 8-player kill is likely the player’s most impressive feat yet, and it remains to be seen if he’ll be able to top what is surely a brand new PUBG record.
