Report: Nintendo to Replace Microsoft as Number 2 Behind Sony in 2018

Despite both Nintendo and Microsoft enjoying big profits in 2017, a recent report predicts that Microsoft will give up its spot behind Sony as the second-biggest console manufacturer in 2018. Sony is still holding firm in the top spot. IHS Markit reports (via GameIndustry.biz) that Microsoft took $10 billion in sales from Xbox hardware, software and services last year, compared to Nintendo’s $8 billion.…
