Reddit Battlefront 2 Loot Boxes

EA’s Infamous Star Wars Battlefront 2 Reddit Comment has Been Turned Into a Loot Box Skin

Ever since EA’s infamous Star Wars Battlefront 2 Reddit comment came to be, EA has had one hell of a time combatting wave after wave of understandably angry fans. But of course, we all have our ways of getting through our emotions. Some will curse and slander while others, namely a modder by the name of Dareedevokl, has decided to use the Reddit comment for modding purposes.

To put it bluntly; Dareedevokl has decided to vent his frustration by turning EA’s comment into a loot box skin. Yes, you read correctly. A loot box skin.

You may be wondering why, but once you have a look at the mod’s description it all starts to become clear very fast. Dareedevokl writes: “The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes. As for cost, we selected initial values based upon data from the Open Beta and other adjustments made to milestone rewards before launch. Among other things, we’re looking at average per-player credit earn rates on a daily basis, and we’ll be making constant adjustments to ensure that players have challenges that are compelling, rewarding, and of course attainable via gameplay.”

Hold on a second, this looks awfully familiar, plus there are some sentences that make little to no sense anymore. Open beta? That was ages ago! That’s because Dareedevokl has decided to troll EA one last time, repeating word for word the original comment that EA gave out on the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Reddit. That’s quite the creative way to deal with your frustration, though I’m almost positive EA won’t feel the same way if they come across this.

It isn’t the first time modders have decided to rally against EA over their comments. Remember Pink Darth Vader? Yeah. I doubt it will be the last we’ll see of modders making something in spite of EA, but until then all we’ll have to do is wait and see.
