Sony Announces New PlayStation VR Deals and Bundles

Sony has announced new deals for the PlayStation VR, which will be running from February 18th to March 3rd, 2018. The PS VR headset will be available at the starting price of $199.99.

One of the bundles included in the promotion is the PlayStation VR Doom VFR Bundle, which comes with a PlayStation VR headset, PlayStation Camera, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0 and the Doom VFR Blu-ray Disc. Doom VFR provides a fresh perspective by presenting the fast-paced kinetic gameplay with an all-new virtual reality experience. This bundle will be available at $299.99.

Another returning bundle, which was extremely popular during the previous holiday season, is the PlayStation VR Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Bundle. This bundle consists of the PS VR headset, PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0 and Skyrim VR. The full game features all official add-ons, including Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn expansions. This bundle will be available at $349.99.

This deal comes at an exciting time for the PS VR, with recently released games like The Inpatient and Accounting +. Players can look forward to upcoming titles such as Moss, Bravo Team, and more. There are currently more than a whopping 150 games and experiences compatible with the PlayStation VR, with more than a 130 highly-anticipated games releasing by the end of this year.

PlayStation VR is a virtual reality headset developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, which was released in October 2016. Fully functional with the PS4 console, the PlayStation VR also works with both the DualShock 4 or PlayStation Move controllers. The headset contains a 5.7-inch OLED panel, with a display resolution of 1080p. The headset also has a processor box, which enables the Social Screen video output to the television and process the 3D audio effect. The PS VR has since sold over two million units by the end of 2017.
