After parting ways with Capcom nearly two years ago, the beloved designer behind popular franchises like Mega Man and Resident Evil has finally revealed his next major high-profile project that is currently underway at his new studio, Comcept.
Keiji Inafune is a master at his craft, and since his departure from the mega-publisher, fans have been clamoring for him to release a new original zombie title. It looks like their cries haven't gone unnoticed, as Inafune's upcoming game will be a zombie action title called YAIBA.
Inafune had the following to share about this newly announced project: "This new concept for my game was born some time after becoming independent. I don’t want to spoil everything just yet, but I hope you will enjoy my new game that is loaded with stuff I love, zombies, ninjas, robots, and action. It’s called “YAIBA”. I hope you are excited. I know I am."
