Stephen Fry has taken over narrating duties in a brand new Pokemon GO trailer, with the British comedian and all-around national treasure aping David Attenborough in the new ad.
The new trailer, titled ‘Amazing Creatures Have Been Discovered across the Planet!’, was posted to the official Pokemon YouTube channel earlier today. It sees Stephen Fry assuming the role of a narrator offering insight into the pocket monsters’ activities, similar to David Attenborough in the BBC’s Planet Earth series.
Pokemon GO continues to be a huge success for Nintendo, with the company continuing to make moves in the mobile space. Today, it announced that it would be bringing Mario Kart Tour to smartphones before the end of the fiscal year 2019.
It remains to be seen whether or not Mario Kart Tour will enjoy the longevity that Pokemon GO has, with Nintendo still having big plans for the augmented reality game in the future.
