A 4K remaster of MediEvil was announced at the PlayStation Experience presentation. It is a revamp of the 1998 original that came to the first PlayStation. A trailer was shown, revealing a brief and not very informative teaser of the upcoming remaster. There was no release date or much footage at all shown in it.
The MediEvil remaster was preceded by Sony Interactive Entertainment America President Shawn Layden’s annual PSX t-shirt reveal. In previous years, he has wore a shirt to the PlayStation Experience representing games that were unannounced at the time, including this year’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Though many suspected a Spyro remaster would be announced at PSX 2017, that is not so at this time. MediEvil will be the next original PlayStation game to get a second chance on the PS4. It is currently unknown if this trend will continue or if this could even mean a new MediEvil game sometime in the future. For more on MediEvil, check its PSX 2017 reveal trailer below.
