Obsidian: “We Would So Love To” Make KOTOR 3

While BioWare's Star Wars MMO The Old Republic may not have taken off quite like the studio had hoped, there are still loads of fans crying out for a proper single-player followup to Obsidian's Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

Thanks to Reddit user SlappyBag9, we now have evidence that developer Obsidian would be down for another KOTOR go around should the opportunity present itself. In a Facebook conversation, the developer confessed that they "would so love to" make a KOTOR 3

While BioWare and EA in the past have said that The Old Republic will essentially serve as KOTOR 3, 4, 5, and so on, the fact that their MMO hasn't managed to fill that void in many fans' hearts certainly doesn't rule out the possibility of a proper third installment.

However, whether or not Obisidian would be entrusted with this task would still be up for question. KOTOR 2 was a great game, but one can't overlook the number of technical issues that plagued the experience, something developer Obsidian is no stranger to.
