VR Is Getting an Official Marvel Game, and Deadpool Just Joined the Crew

Marvel Powers United VR is one of the latest Oculus Rift games to begin development. With a goal of allowing Marvel fans to experience what it’s really like to be a superhero, it’s a compelling concept that has mainstream appeal.

Freshly announced today, Deadpool will be among the list playable characters, joining The Hulk, Ronan the Accuser, Captain Marvel, and others. With access to pistols, a sword, and flashy martial art attacks, he will play much differently than the rest of the gang, and given the game is officially licensed, fan service will be aplenty.

Deadpool can be seen in action below:

Marvel Powers United VR is scheduled for a release in early 2018.
