Metroid: Samus Returns’ European Special Edition Looks Way Too Tempting

After dropping a tantalizing title card for Metroid Prime 4 during its E3 2017 spotlight stream, Nintendo waited until its followup Treehouse stream began before announcing another Metroid title: Metroid: Samus Returns. While the game is a remake of the Game Boy’s Metroid II, Nintendo is giving it the full blockbuster treatment, complete with lavish special editions and extras for those willing to invest.

Nintendo of Europe recently shed some light on exactly what those extras might be, revealing an image that details the full extent of the game’s special edition bonuses. Players who do pick up the special edition can expect the following.

  • A sound-selection CD featuring 25 tracks from across the Metroid franchise
