Ubisoft Sales Up 27% Thanks To Ghost Recon

Ubisoft is making all of the right moves lately, and their bottom line is showing it. The French publisher posted roughly $160 million in sales in the first quarter of fiscal year 2012-2013, up 27.2% from the previous year. Ubisoft attributes the increase to higher than expected sales of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

The rest of the fiscal year should be equally profitable for Ubisoft, having major releases like Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 in the pipeline.

GameRevolution named Ubisoft our favorite publisher of 2011. Will they repeat in 2012? Our Magic 8-ball says it's likely.
