Halo 4 Beta Footage Leaked

Alright, this has got to be one of the strangest video leaks to ever grace the web. As I'm sure you're well aware, Halo 4 is launching later this year and we still have yet to see any extended gameplay footage. That is, until now.

Presented to you in glorious standard definition on a VHS tape, feast your eyes on the first extended look at Halo 4's multiplayer in action (courtesy of YouTube user Skid Kid). Oh yeah, and you're going to want to mute your speakers for this one… just trust me.

Is that guy in a barn? While the video quality is utterly horrendous, it looks like that television is set atop a bale of hay. So very, very strange.

Oddities aside, we are able to get a sneak peak at what Halo 4's multiplayer will look like, with footage of weapons like the beloved Battle Rifle and Plasma Sword in action. There's also an unfamiliar gun on display, which we believe is the recently teased Railgun. It's pretty obvious from the video that Halo 4 will be much faster paced than Reach thanks to instant respawns and a longer lasting sprint.

Expect to see much more (and higher quality) Halo 4 footage next week as 343 Industries blows the lid off of their highly anticipated first-person shooter.
