DiRT Showdown Release Date Revised For X360 And PS3

For better or worse, Codemasters in a long discussion and deliberation with Warner Bros. has decided to postpone the release date for DiRT Showdown from May 24th (in just a week) to June 12th.

Curiously, this is only for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. The PC edition will stick to the global release date of May 24th and will be available for Steam.

This minor delay might be a manufacturing or distribution issue or, perhaps a calculated move to make sure that the attention toward Diablo III, Max Payne 3, and in part E3 has softened enough to give DiRT Showdown a chance.
