I had my hands full in March playing top PS4 games, namely The Division and Republique, but looking at April's PS4 game release dates, even more gaming is coming my way.
Even though the release date for Uncharted 4 has been changed from the end of April to May 10th, you still have big titles coming in, such as DiRT Rally and Assetto Corsa for petrolheads, and Dark Souls III for the rest of us.
The following are confirmed release dates for PlayStation 4 games in April. Keep in mind that release dates are subject to change, and if something's wrong, be kind and let us know.
DiRT Rally – April 5th
Ever since Codemasters first released Colin McRae Rally, I’ve been hooked on the adrenaline of rally racing. Each new installment brings more reality to the game, and it’s no different with DiRT Rally, offering over forty iconic rally monsters for you to tear around the tracks with, from yesteryear right on through to modern day.
Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroine Infinite Duel – April 7th
Now here’s a real girl power game with 32 characters split up into playable and support, coming from games released by Nitroplus and combined into one ultimate fighting game, Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroine Infinite Duel.
Dark Souls III / Ratchet & Clank – April 12th
Prepare yourself to embrace the darkness in Dark Souls III. The story is to be uncovered by the players of course, so I can’t say much about it. Judging by screencaps and trailers, this RPG genre-defining game, in its fourth installment, is gonna raise the bar for RPG games at least a little bit higher. Alternatively, you can lighten up with Ratchet & Clank, helping them save the universe.
Assetto Corsa – April 19th
Strap yourselves into a blisteringly realistic racing experience with Assetto Corsa. Customize and modify the rides the way you want, down to exacting detail, then make your tires scream on legendary tracks from around the world.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 – April 21st
Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 aims to approve on its previously-bestowed title of ‘Best Sports Game’. High expectations are in play, as is typically the case with PES titles and Konami, but with new gameplay enhancements being announced and addition of things like dynamic weather and dynamic wide camera control, I believe they will easily meet those expectations and then some.
Tales From the Borderlands / Dungeons 2 – April 22nd
Return to the Borderlands universe, planet Pandora, with Rhys (Troy Baker) and Fiona (Laura Bailey) in point-and-click adventure Tales From the Borderlands or help out The Dungeon Lord in Dungeons 2 to extend his dominion and attempt to conquer the overworld too.
