Skyrim DLC News Incoming Next Week… Maybe

One of the topics the team and I discuss on this week's episode of GameRevolution Radio is the recent trend of Game of the Year Editions; saying how all major titles get a DLC-packed re-release.

Strangely, though, the game with the most Game of the Year awards hasn't yet announced a Game of the Year Edition, and that's because no DLC at all has been released for it. That game, is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

The wait may soon be over, according to Pete Hines. Or maybe not, if his "we'll see" is anything like my parents' when I was a kid asking for a new He-Man action figure or Transformer. Because fuck my parents, that's why.

Here's what Bethesda's Pete Hines said on that tweeting blue bird social network thing:

I am working on getting a little more info out on Skyrim/DLC. Maybe next week? We'll see. Also trying to confirm Kinect release date.

I learned to just stick with my old toys. But now I'm older, and this Skyrim DLC is too late. My attention span is short, and I've already moved on. Plus I don't give a shit about Kinect.

Whatever. Just hurry up already, Bethesda. Okay? You've never worried about rushing products out to the market before—why start now?
