Miracles never do cease. Now that the GAME Group has been bought out for £1, it seems that EA has found the retailer company to be financially stable enough to restock GAME and Gamestation stores with a few games. Namely, GAME will be selling Tiger Woods 2013, The Sims 3 Showtime, FIFA Street, and Mass Effect 3. None of these games were stocked by GAME when they released in March.
Last week, Nintendo returned to the group with Pandora's Tower, a highly-anticipated RPG for the Wii. Tomorrow, The Witcher 2 will grace GAME with its presence.
It appears that things are going up for GAME, which is great considering that the only way they could go lower would be to close up shop all-together. It's a shame that the turn-around required closing 277 stores and letting go over 2000 jobs. Hopefully this will be a positive sign of things to come for the European retailer.
