Kinect Powered Rampage Reboot Was In The Works

When Midway went under, several companies bought up rights to the publisher's historied franchises. Electronic Arts got Blitz and NBA Jam, but Warner Bros also picked up a handful of properties from the bankrupted WB Games.

Rampage was among those properties, despite the fact that there's been nothing new from the series since Rampage: Total Destruction for Wii way back in 2006. Graphic Artist Andrew Baker's website has a piece of concept art that suggests the franchise might have something in the works.

This Rampage reboot was apparently in development as a Kinect title, but given the state of turnover in Midway work, it's only described as an unreleased prototype. Maybe the motion controls just didn't work….
